How I updated my kitchen for under $500!

So when we moved into our home 3.5 years ago, it was 2 weeks before Christmas, I was pregnant, and I had 3 kids (one of which was a 9 months old). It was crazy to put it mildly, but I fell in love with our home the moment I stepped through the front door. The previous owners built the home as a model home and had it professionally decorated. It was pretty, but it wasn't my style. Here is what the kitchen looked like. And here it is today. So this is what I did:I painted the cabinets using white chalk paint. You can find it here.I painted the tile back splash using the same chalk paint.I painted the walls. Mindful Gray by Sherwin Williams.I cleaned my tile grout.I took down the stuff from on top of the cabinets.I changed the pendant lighting over the bar. Lowes has so many options. You buy the cover for your already hanging pendant light and just switch them out. I found these for $11 each!I changed the faucet. I bought this one from Amazon. It's under $75!!!I added new hardware. I used these on the top white cabinets, and these on the bottom charcoal cabinets.I took the doors off the cabinets and painted the back of them with black chalk paint for an easy open shelving look.Ultimately I would like to replace the granite and back splash, but for now this is a quick cheap fix.Happy Thursday :)Marianne
