Good ole sunshine

I have always been a morning person. Like the kind of person who woke up at 5am ready to roll from the time she was a baby until early teens.I think my mom was a little worried. Something had to be wrong with this crazy 13 year old who woke up at 5am every morning!masterlightHA! Then I went to college, stayed up too late for 4 years, hung out with my night owl hubby, and then had 4 babies who didn't sleep through the night until they were 1 year old PLUS (Wit at 18 months!).Through those experiences I learned the power of a good Saturday morning sleep in.masterlight3But, now I am back to my old ways. 5am and coffee here I come! Everyone is sleeping through the night, and I made the decision to get a few hours to myself every morning.masterlight1There is nothing like it when you really get your groove on. I can get 2 loads of laundry finished, lunches made, read, a couple of cups of coffee and breakfast in me before the first baby bird calls for mommy. And you know the real trick to sticking with it? Getting up early on the weekends t00.Yep! Once you let yourself sleep in again, you are all messed up, and at almost 35, it's become harder and harder to break and start new habits.masterlight2So this is the wonderful sun that comes pouring in my window every morning inviting me to take on the day.masterlightI hope you take on your day today, and can get outside EARLY to enjoy some good ole sunshine! :)
