Merry and Bright!
Can you believe it's OVER!?!?!? I am always a little sad taking down the tree, still at the same time it feels good to have space in my living room again. Here are a few highlights from our Christmas.....Lazy non dairy Christmas cookies. Just take your favorite sugar cookie recipe and substitute the butter with vegan butter, and instead of rolling the dough out and making cookie shapes we just rolled it into a ball and rolled it around in green or red sprinkles. Easy and YUMMY!Don't you love the Lysol wipes in the picture? Sadie and Wit got the stomach bug (Sadie 2 days before and Wit on Christmas night) BOOO! But we did enjoy our HUGE real tree Daddy got us this year. Since we moved right before Christmas I kept my normally crazy and over the top Christmas decorating to a minimum this year...a tree and stockings!Crafts at school Christmas parties!Playing in "snow" at school Christmas parties.....And letting your friends dress you up like a Christmas tree!Feeling like a big boy hanging out in his sister's classroom.Wit's skin is FINALLY getting better from his eczema! The secret? Bleach and Vinegar baths 2x a week per his dermatologist. He still uses a topical steroid for flares, but the baths have made all the difference. I am soooooo thankful! We hosted Christmas dinner this year in our new home, and the girls made place tags for everyone using sharpies and 3x5 cards. It was a HIT!Christmas #1 at Gran'sWith cousinsChristmas #2 at Gigi's.And finally Christmas morning at home :)I hope you had a wonderful Holiday with your loved ones!
