6 months of yummy!!!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy am I in LOVE with this little boy!He is the PERFECT finale to my baby making years :) He is 17 pounds of joy and sweet laughs. He loves being a baby, and he eats up all the attention his 3 siblings shower him with.After 4 kids I have learned that sometimes you can't fight the funk.....so when he grew out of his rock and play where he slept 9+ wonderful hours a night in, and I placed him in his beautiful brand new crib where he slept no more than 30 mins at a time in, I scooped up his yummy self and held him in my arms in my bed where he slept peacefully through the night. Yes, I said it. I am officially a co-sleeper with my child. He loves it, and I love it, and that's all that matters. And Daddy is just happy to finally be sleeping again.I remember with Mia my eldest, I had her on a strict schedule by 1 week. I let her cry it out at night when she was old enough to sleep through the night. I stressed out if we missed nap time, and horror of all horrors she must always sleep in her own crib. Well now all the rules are flying out the window, and you know what.....I am so happy to let them go. You see they are only this small once. They won't sleep in your bed until they are 16, they will eat whatever they want whenever they want even though you picked the perfect "1st foods" to introduce them to at 6 months, and all too soon they will be gone living their own life.I feel like I am grasping everyday at every moment to make them count, to make them last, and to savor each interaction I have with my children.
